ULRIKA FRANK IS PAINTED ON THE SHOE BY ARTIST REBECCA MONEY, SEE INFO BELOW. THE SHOE, WHICH IS THE FIRST IN A SERIE OF 12, WILL BE ON DISPLAY AT THE DENTRO SHOW.

Rebecca Money lives in Atlanta and is known for her ability to create unique custom murals and trompe l'oeil for her clients. Many of her commissions are painted on canvas and installed, allowing homeowners to keep and enjoy the artwork for years to come. Rebecca is simultaneously working on a series of 12 painted flamenco shoes which will express her passion and journey into the deep and intricate art of Flamenco. The shoe painted for the Dentro show, is the first shoe in this series and is based on Federico Garcia Lorca's poem "La Guitarra" and features the avant-garde Flamenco artist, Ulrika Frank. She was first photographed by Susy Schultz, and then Rebecca painted Ulrika on the shoe. Ulrika is not only one of Rebecca's Flamenco mentors, but her open heart and open mind serve as an influential force in Rebecca's thoughts on art as universally expressed in both painting and dance.
